Our new album is now OUUUUUUUT!!
A true cry from the heart, “Golfinhos” is an electro hymn to the duo’s musical guilty pleasures. A literal
translation of the word “dolphins” in Portuguese, this album expresses itself in the language of the
country in which it was written and composed. At the heart of the matter: Estelle Zamme’s animal totem
and all the wacky adventures that accompany it. Always borderline, never too much, the album draws
on a wide range of influences. The Prodigy-style big beat on “A Vida é Super” opens the record, as if to
welcome us into a world that is rawer and more frontal than on its predecessor. We find markers of
happy hardcore on the supercharged “Bom Dia”, new wave on “Unstoppable” and a very Eurodance
sound on “Choco Frito”, a track slammed to the ground with a totally assumed wtf spirit, reminiscent of
some Salut c’est cool. A taste for risk is at the heart of “Golfinhos”. Estelle Zamme didn’t hesitate to
include a number of ultra-original collaborations, notably with Pakistani rapper Uzair Khan on “Tohfa”,
or with 11-year-olds on “4 o’clock”.
